Motivations:

"My motivation is from my 5 children and 2 grandchildren. When my two oldest were smaller, they had grabbed a book of matches from their fathers’ car before he had gone to work and snuck out of my backyard and went to the neighbor’s garage who wasn’t home and set it on fire accidentally. I was in our house caring for my newborn child. My oldest kids ran inside and told me what was happening. Noone had gotten hurt, nor was there any serious damage. I have lots of motivation when it comes to writing for children about children. Everyday with these seven children is a new, exciting adventure and learning process, not just for them, but also for me."
